Since its inception in Japan in 1997, VAIO has pursued craftsmanship that unites technological innovation with refined design. Even after becoming independent from Sony in 2014, we have continued to uphold this spirit, refining our craft at our headquarters in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture.
Our ambition is to establish an ideal factory—one where creativity and technical mastery converge, where challenges are embraced with confidence, and where we take responsibility for every step of the manufacturing process ourselves to deliver products that delight customers around the world. More than just a production site, this factory will embody the wisdom and passion that will shape the future.
From this ideal factory, we aim to reaffirm and elevate the brilliance of Japanese manufacturing.
